TODAY'S LESSON: CHARITY
Charity...it's one of the most controvesial words in the bible and one of the most important. You see
charity is love,
but not just any love:
it's love in action.
Here are a few definition to help you understand :
FAITH-belief:trust;convidence
HOPE-A desire of some good, accompanied by a belief that is attainable;trust
LOVE-to regard with affection;to like;to delight in
CHARITY-a disposition to relieve;benevolence;alms
Now, consider this verse:
"AND NOW ABIDETH FAITH, HOPE, CHARITY, THESE THREE;BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS CHARITY."
Hope is an inward expression, and love is, well;a word. A very powerful word, yes, but never the less a word;that is when it stands alone.
Let me give you an example:
A man and a woman go to a chapel to get married.
Just three people in the room
the man, the woman, and the minister
No witnesses.
Can they get married, Yes, but it won't be considered legal unless there are 2 witnesses present.
Love and Charity work much the same way. It's great to tell someone that you love them, but if you really wan't them to know you love them
DO SOMETHING FOR THEM

(I think you're gonna like this)
Here's something to think about
The song says that burdens are lifted at Calvary, not laid at Calvary.
