TODAY'S LESSON: HOPE

On September 6, 1620 the pilgrims set sail from England in search of the New World. They didn't know what they would find, nor how they would survive: but they had hope for the future. That same hope is still there today.. We just can't see it because of the way this world is. Satan has got a real hold on our politicians today and that has trickled down to us. Our newpapers and television programming are filled with 'signs of the times'.
II Chronicles 7:14 says this:
IF MY PEOPLE ,WHICH ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND PRAY, AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN, AND WILL HEAL THEIR LAND.
Take a look at the picture below. There are no triangles in it. This is exactly how Satan operates. He tries to convice us that things are one way when they are another.
If you believe the wrong thing long enough, you'll soon lose your hope.
So, Satan is a BIG fat liar, what do you do?
