TODAY'S LESSON:  FEAR FACTOR

Some of you might be saying, "Hey that's a t.v. show."  Yes it is, but is it a healthy example.
NO!

Remember, if God brings you to it, he will bring you through it

David was one of the strongest men in the bible and even he had times of anxiety yet in

Psalm 23:4 he prays:

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death

 I will fear no evil,

for thou art with me...

Later in Psalm 56:3 it's recorded that he prayed this:

What time I am afraid I will trust is thee

Fear is a funny thing.

At time it keeps us from doing things that we should do

At other times it keeps us from doing things that we should not do

Who's responsible for our fears?

Humanly speaking, we are.

There's a battle going on inside each one of us even as I speak.

God and Satan are "having it out so to speak"

Who will win?

Well, we already know the answer to that question..

God wins!

(aren't you glad)

You see,

Ephesians 6:12  tells us this:

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

(yes, this means WASHINGTON, D.C.)

Ok, so you're telling me there's a war inside of me and I can't do anything about it?

Not exactly.

In all the scripture I think this sums it up best:

Romans 8:38-39 says this:

For I am persuaded neither death, nor life, nor angles, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
